Pitching Coach

Matt Minnick serves as a pitching coach at CSP-FL. A Division II All-American at Mercyhurst University, he was selected by the New York Yankees in the 2019 MLB Draft and advanced to Triple-A within their system. In 2023, he signed with the New York Mets, competing at both the Double-A and Triple-A levels.

In addition to his professional experience on the mound, Matt is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). He is deeply invested in the integration of strength and conditioning with pitching development, leveraging his expertise to optimize athlete performance and durability. Having personally navigated multiple elbow surgeries, he brings advanced knowledge in rehabilitation and return-to-throw programming, offering athletes a comprehensive and empathetic perspective throughout the recovery process.

Matt also has a strong background in the analytical side of pitching, utilizing data-driven insights to refine mechanics, design individualized development plans, and enhance in-game performance.
