David Powers

Social Media Coordinator

David Powers joined Cressey Sports Performance in May 2024 as Social Media Coordinator. A Wellington native, he graduated from Palm Beach Central High School with hopes of remaining in the sports environment. He then earned his bachelor’s degree in Sports Management from Florida State University in 2023, where he developed a comprehensive understanding of the sports industry, including its operational dynamics, common challenges, and the extensive role social media plays in today’s sport world. Despite an arm injury ending his career at a younger age, David remained deeply engaged with baseball and other major sports. He actively participated in FSU’s Sport Management Student Association, which contributed to various sports-related volunteer initiatives.

  • Why it’s essential that you learn to train outside the sagittal plane?
  • Which medicine ball and plyometric variations I use with baseball players?
  • Why not all throwers have identical deceleration patterns or training needs?
